Edwin Jahiel Undergraduate Writing Award

This award honors the numerous contributions of Dr. Edwin Jahiel, professor of French and Cinema Studies and founding director of the Unit for Cinema Studies. The Department awards $250 for a research paper in the area of Cinema Studies, written by an undergraduate student. Submissions are accepted in the spring each year. Download more information (PDF).

Senior Honors Thesis

Some seniors may be interested in completing either a semester- or year-long thesis project. This is an excellent option for students considering graduate school, employment in any media production field, or a career in any field that requires significant research or writing.
