Background
Ahmed has worked as a Teaching Assistant in South Valley University, Qena, Egypt since 2005. He served as Editing Manager then Executive Editor in chief for the University student newspaper. He is an accredited lecturer in Egypt for the ministries of Youth and Culture and the State Information Service.

Research/Creative Endeavor
Ahmed got his Master degree for his thesis entitled "The Trends of the Egyptian Journalistic Discourse about the Political Freedom" in this study, Ahmed used the qualitative method to analyze five Egyptian newspapers argumentations about the political freedom in the era of the ex-president Hosni Mubarak. Before his arrival in the U.S, He published a new article about "the Egyptian Religious Discourse through the Satellite Channels and its reflections on the Egyptian society Progress possibility"
Ahmed's recent research focuses on the editing of the breaking news in the Egyptian and American online newspapers and its implications upon the users interactivity and their attitudes toward the current events.
