Cassie shares that she'll be the weekend sports anchor and a news reporter at KJTV Fox 34 in Lubbock--the home of Texas Tech University (Big 12 Country). Cassie has been working as a video journalist at Fox Illinois in Champaign. She was previously at The Citadel sports video unit in Charleston, SC.

The book, a compilation of poetry and prose, aims to draw attention to political and human rights abuses including: immigration, journalists killed while covering stories (especially politically charged events), the homeless, surveillance and the NSA.
Bill Liesse, age 50, of Peoria passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, as a result of heart failure, following recent surgery to mend a torn aorta.

UI journalism alumnus Robert Lowe has his first job in TV!!! Robbie will be the weekend anchor and three day reporter at KTIV-TV (NBC) in Sioux City, Iowa. Robert recently graduated with his master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University in NY.
