Marcia (Kurtz) Zuckerman '65 Journalism

"A Crack In The Foundation" is Marcia (Kurtz) Zuckerman’s first book. The book, a compilation of poetry and prose, aims to draw attention to political and human rights abuses including: immigration, journalists killed while covering stories (especially politically charged events), the homeless, surveillance and the NSA. A larger prose/poem/dialogue, “Making Change”, includes her view on our environmental issues.

Bill Liesse '88 JOURN

Bill Liesse, age 50, of Peoria passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, as a result of heart failure, following recent surgery to mend a torn aorta.

Heidi Isenhart '93 ADV

Heidi W. Isenhart, a partner with the law firm of ShuffieldLowman, has been named one of the 50 Top Women Lawyers in Florida  by Super Lawyers.
Super Lawyers, owned by Thomson Reuters, recognizes attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice.  The selection process is multi-phased and rigorous. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third-party research and validation of the attorney's professional accomplishments.

Judy Hsu '93 JOURN

Congrats to broadcast alumna Judy Hsu of WLS (ABC-7) Chicago. Judy is the new vice-chair to the Chinese American Service League in Chicago. She was nominated by friend/mentor Linda Yu. Judy's been at ABC-7 since 2001.
