Former president Bill ClintonAssistant Professor of Journalism Charles “Stretch” Ledford recently spent several days in Iowa on what he describes as “a political binge” covering the run-up to today’s state caucuses for Getty Images.  Ledford committed to photographing as many campaign events as possible in a week’s time.

Guillermo Del Toro’s "CRIMSON PEAK" to Open 2016 Ebertfest

Guillermo Del Toro’s "CRIMSON PEAK" will open the 18th Annual Roger Ebert’s Film Festival hosted by Chaz Ebert, also known as ‘Ebertfest,’ it was announced today by Chaz Ebert and festival director Nate Kohn. Guillermo Del Toro will be attending as a guest of the festival, which runs April 13-17, 2016 in Champaign, Illinois. Other festival films will be announced shortly.

“Del Toro is a director with a genuine visual sense, with a way of drawing us into his story and evoking the mood with the very look and texture of his shots,” Roger Ebert once wrote of Del Toro.
