Brittany Duff, associate professor of advertising, and Julie Turnock, associate professor of media & cinema studies and acting department head, have both been named College of Media Scholars. Duff’s term is for academic years 2019-20 and 2020-21, and Turnock’s term is for academic years 2020-21 and 2021-22.

This program is designed to recognize the research, teaching, and service contributions of mid-career faculty members (associate professors and recently-promoted full professors) and comes with a research stipend to support the appointees’ scholarly endeavors.
