As College of Media seniors and recent graduates face the unknowns of the COVID-19 job market, this virtual conference connects them with alumni working in a wide range of media roles. This conference will explore navigating the uncertainties of our times, job search strategies, and networking with alumni in a variety of fields. More than 25 alumni and current/former instructors are panelists/moderators throughout the conference, which runs from Thursday, May 7, through Saturday, May 9.
Anyone may watch these sessions on Good Morning Illini’s YouTube channel.
Current journalism students—especially seniors—are encouraged to register to join these sessions on Zoom to have the opportunity to engage in live Q/As with our panelists. The Zoom sessions are limited to 100 people. To register, email good-morning-illini@illinois.edu and put in the subject line: I in Media Virtual Conference.
