
Students in MACS 464: Film Festivals organize, promote, and produce this annual film festival featuring short films of all genres and TikToks created by undergraduates across the University of Illinois campus. Join us for a celebration of student creativity!
All University of Illinois undergraduate students, filmmaking clubs, and production classes are invited to submit to the annual UIUC Student Film Festival. You can submit a short film of any genre (comedy, drama, music, dance, video essay, documentary, experimental, animation) or TikTok video. A $100 audience award will be given to the favorite short film. A $100 World Building award will be given for best film with a social justice theme. A $75 gift card will be awarded to the favorite TikTok submission. Be part of a celebration of student filmmaking and creativity! Submissions due April 8 at uiucfilmfest.com/submissions. Films will be screened at Spurlock Museum on Saturday, April 30, 5-8 p.m. and also livestreamed.
