Recent graduate Nate Hartmann ’14 MS ADV, was featured in an article in The New York Times about young entrepreneurs and some of the challenges they face as they run their businesses.

Hartmann was interviewed because he started a digital advertising and marketing agency in 2010 when he was only 18. Hartmann continued to build that company, Yellow Box, while he was an undergraduate at the University of Illinois and then later as he was pursuing an M.S. in Advertising at the university, which he completed in 2014.

One of the challenges that Hartmann talked about in the article was the skepticism that some potential clients display when they meet him in person and realize how young he is. Hartmann said that just a few days ago someone asked him how old he was during a meeting with a new client.
