U of I journalism students Alejandra Reyes Pena and Alyssa Rege have been selected for paid summer internships through the Multicultural Internship Program of the Illinois Broadcasters Association. The program competitively selects student applicants from universities across the state and places them at Illinois television and radio stations.  Pena will be at WMAQ TV/NBC 5/Telemundo in Chicago and Rege will be at WLS TV/ABC 7 in Chicago.
