Media Literacy Workshop for Illinois Public High School Teachers
Runs June 27-29
Rooms 1000 and 1002 Siebel Center for Design
This two-and-a-half-day workshop is hosted by the Initiative for Media Education Inquiry and Action (IMEDIA), a project of faculty and students in the College of Media and the College of Education. Professors from both colleges will present modules to attendees (limited to 20 participants). Teachers will learn ways to help their students access, analyze, evaluate, create, and communicate using a variety of media forms. The workshop is designed to help teachers meet the Illinois state mandate for media literacy instruction. Learn more about the workshop.
