A number of faculty and students participated in the International Communication Association annual conference in Fukuoka, Japan. The ICA aims to advance the scholarly study of human communication by encouraging and facilitating excellence in academic research worldwide.

Meyerson wins Murrow Award

Charlie Meyerson, '77 JOURN, MS '78 JOURN, has won a 2016 national Edward R. Murrow Award for audio investigative reporting from the Radio Television Digital News Association. Meyerson, founding head of news for the app-based news startup Rivet Radio, led a team of his Rivet colleagues to report "Our Glass Desk Exploded.
