Ebert Film Festival passes go on sale Nov. 2

Ebertfest

Film fans who want the whole experience of the 18th annual Roger Ebert’s Film Festival, or “Ebertfest,” can purchase festival passes starting Nov. 2.

The passes cover all 12 or more screenings during the five-day event, coming April 13-17 at the Virginia Theatrein Champaign, Ill. Related talks and panel discussions will be held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Rosenstein documentary receives mention

Jay Rosenstein

MACS Professor Jay Rosentein and his groundbreaking documentary "IN Whose Honor?" are part of a new article listing "5 Amazing Indigenous Women to Celebrate instead of Christopher Columbus."  One of the women selected, University of Illinois alumnus Charlene Teters, is the central character in Prof. Rosenstein's film.
