My broad interest falls in media psychology and my current research interests explore the processing and responses to advertisements on mobile devices and within different tasks. I am currently focusing on exploring whether, in certain situations, distractors might actually aid people’s information processing by reducing mind wandering. If so, what are the ramifications of this phenomenon in advertising and other strategic communication contexts?
