Gelman and Collins launch podcast about Chicago sports

Two journalism alumni, Joey Gelman (BS '16) and Dan Collins (BS '16), have launched a new podcast called "BLEAV in Chicago Sports" with the BLEAV Podcast Network.

"We can't wait to give all our Illini family some fun Chicago sports talk and hopefully sprinkle in some Illini as they're ready to be CBB contenders again in the Big Ten!" Gelman said.

Gelman and Collins previously co-hosted Illini Drive on WPGU as undergrads and were active members of The Daily Illini sports staff for radio/podcast. 

"The [journalism] program was integral to building our passion and skills in the field and coupled with our work with the Daily Illini/WPGU, we left Illinois with an incredibly well-rounded education and experience that helped prepare us for this show launch!" Gelman added.
