Katz named news director of NPR station in DC

Jeffrey Katz (BS '78, journalism) is the news director at WAMU, the NPR news station in Washington, D.C. He joined WAMU in May 2017, after many years as a reporter and editor in digital news, radio, magazines, and newspapers. He was an editor at NPR for 15 years at Morning Edition and as the deputy managing editor for digital news.
