Recent alumnus Dan Escalona passes away

We are sad to learn about the passing of recent journalism alumnus Daniel Escalona, who earned both his bachelor's (BS '17) and master's (MS '18) with us. He died on April 12 due to complications from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Escalona was "one of the best students I've ever had," said Professor Stephanie Craft, the head of the Department of Journalism.
