Advertising /ICR alum wins prestigious research award at American Academy of Advertising Conference
Advertising and ICR alum, Dr. Wei-Na Lee, the F.J. Heyne Centennial Professor in Communication and Professor of Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Texas at Austin, received the prestigious Ivan Preston Outstanding Contribution to Research award at the Annual Conference of the American Academy of Advertising in Boston on March 25, 2017. The award is designed to honor an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the discipline of advertising through a systematic and sustained program of published research. This award is given only to active and contributing AAA members for exemplary research on advertising and is not necessarily awarded every year.
Dr. Lee received her M.S. degree in Advertising in the Charles H. Sandage Department of Advertising and her Ph.D. in Communications from the Institute of Communications Research.
