#MediaOnTheQuad Video

Calling all movie extras! Be part of a cool video with drones and advanced video production, organized by the College of Media MACS 199 Media Production class! #MediaOnTheQuad seeks 500 Illini to meet us on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., on the Quad! Reserve your spot: go.illinois.edu/MediaOnTheQuad 

This will be pretty easy—but since there will be about 500 people, we want to make sure you’re clear on the instructions.

• Bring your cell phone (we recommend having it fully charged, if possible)
• Wear winter clothes (it’ll be cold, so wear your winter jacket and hat/scarf/gloves)
• Go to the big sign that has your designated number (you will receive your number after you register)
• You’ll get the rest of your instructions when you’re on the Quad

When filming is over, we invite you to Greg Hall to have some free hot chocolate, while supplies last!

Use #MediaOnTheQuad to document your experience—we may use that in the video!

All participants will receive an email with a link to the video when it’s done. The video will be shared on the College of Media and campus social media, and in an email to College of Media faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and friends. We hope you'll share it with your friends too!
